How to recover the password by phone or e-mail
The most common sign-in failure is a forgotten password, and it is also the easiest to solve if contacts were confirmed in advance. The whole process takes about a minute.
The code arrives by SMS to the +998 number or by letter to the e-mail. If the letter is not in the inbox, check Spam. If the SMS does not come, make sure the number is in international format and there is a signal, and repeat after a minute without pressing the button many times. The login does not change on recovery — only the password does.
Contacts not confirmed: what to do
If the phone and e-mail were not confirmed, automatic recovery is unavailable: there is nowhere for the code to arrive. This is the most awkward situation and also the main argument for confirming contacts right after registration.
There is one way out — operator support: the chat on the site or [email protected]. You will be asked to prove the account is yours: the ID, profile data, operation history or payment details. It is slower than an SMS code but it is the right path. Do not create a new account: it will not restore access to the old one and only adds a duplicate problem that can get both blocked.
Changing the password and what happens to other devices
The password can be changed two ways. If you remember the old one — in profile settings, without a code. If you do not — through recovery by phone or e-mail. In both cases, after the change open sessions on other devices close and you will sign in again there.
This behaviour is useful as a safety measure. If you suspect the password may have fallen into the wrong hands, changing it from your own device instantly “pushes out” the intruder everywhere. So changing the password is the first thing to do if you accidentally typed it on a suspicious page.
A strong password: what it should be
A strong password is long and unique. Long, because short ones are cracked by brute force. Unique, because if it matches your e-mail or bank password, a leak at one service opens access to all. Do not use obvious combinations: a date of birth, a name, “123456”, a team name.
You need not memorise a complex password. A password manager in the browser or on the phone saves it and fills it in at sign-in, and access to it on the phone is protected by a fingerprint or Face ID. Then you have both a complex password and a convenient sign-in — with no notes on paper.
How not to lose the password again
Three habits close almost every case of lost access. First — save the password in a manager at once, not “remember it later”. Second — confirm the phone and e-mail: these are backup logins and a recovery channel. Third — turn on biometrics: fingerprint or Face ID sign-in removes the need to type the password by hand, and with it the risk of forgetting it.
